It has new laws and curfews for both mortal and immortal and one new breed of humanoid lurking nearby in the shadows.Amid getting settled Gabriel is having dreams involving Angel, a young girl he used to know in Hawaii. Of course she's not a teenager anymore, she is a woman now and she is coming to Crescent City to see him. He can't imagine what she could possibly want but he knows her timing couldn't be worse. Between getting a handle on Niyol and the constant presence of the clones, Gabriel is certain he can't handle one more issue. Mother Nature has appeared to have taken a turn for the worst and now the vampires and wolves have a decision to make.
