Washington, and these 2 men, along with many others, are agents to the birth of dreams of many young people who continue to travel the distance to become a part of the magnificent "Tuskegee Experience." Using Dr. Carver's history as context, the author tells the story of how Tuskegee's influence helped shape her own character and taught lifelong lessons that have made a difference to her life. This book is intended to be used by students, parents and educators alike to learn about a significant time in our history and to provide essential tools that will help guide our children to the place within themselves where futures are shaped.
