The Little Engine That Could and the Big Chase

Michaela Muntean received a degree in comparative literature from the University of Wisconsin and taught Russian literature for a year. She worked as an editor in the children's book department at Western Publishing Company. She wrote over sixty-five Sesame Street and Golden Book titles, including Panda Bear's Paintbox and Theodore Mouse Goes to Sea for Western Publishing Company. She also worked at Parent's Magazine, where she wrote Bicycle Bear and The Very Bumpy Bus Ride and other titles for the Parents' Magazine Book Club. Her other books include Stay: The True Story of Ten Dogs and Do Not Open This Book!
