Over the years, Syracuse produced some of the Big East’s biggest moments and brightest stars. From Pearl Washington to Gerry McNamara, from Leo Rautins’ tip-in to win the six-overtime game in 2009, Syracuse has been synonymous with the Big East. All that is about to change. The Syracuse Fan’s Guide to the ACC looks at Syracuse’s move to the Atlantic Coast Conference. The Orange will go from traditional rivalries against Georgetown and St. John’s to regular games against football powers such as Florida State and Clemson and basketball juggernauts North Carolina and Duke. As Syracuse goes from Broadway to Tobacco Road, The Syracuse Fan’s Guide to the ACC will look at the history of the ACC schools and offer tips for the Syracuse fan who follows the Orange at home and on the road.
