She is convinced that someone else was present at the scene of the accident, but investigators found no physical evidence to substantiate her claim. When her father is sent overseas, Beth moves in with her uncle in Anderson, Wyoming. Anderson is nestled among the foothills of the majestic Teton Mountains, close to the heart of one of the earth's most powerful vortexes. While there, she falls in love with Jonathan Rollings, an accomplished pianist and music tutor who has powers beyond her imagination.

Beth's experience in Anderson brings her face to face with paranormal entitles known as "intruders." As she confronts the good and evil forces of the supernatural realm, she realizes what she has suspected all along--that her mother's death was no accident. And apparently, Beth is the next target.
