Public supply contracts are dealt with alongside public works contracts with relevant current texts cited in detail. In the area of competition law, the new Commission notice on the distinction between concentrative and cooperative joint ventures is included and annotated. The product liability directive joins the unfair contracts terms directive in a new consumer protection chapter. New to this edition as well is a chapter on environmental law which contains an assessment of the waste framework directive and the environmental impact assessment directive.
