Author Biography
Airey, Theresa (Author)
Theresa Airey is an internationally respected photographer, whose work is on display in public galleries in Europe and the Americas. In addition to these outlets, her work has been made accessible through numerous professional shows, as well as being a prized feature in many private collections, including that of Hillary Clinton.

Airey's professional training includes a mix of formal education and field work with some of the best-known photographers of our time. She received an M.F.A. in Photography and Fine Art and developed her visual imaging skills in study with experts such as Ansel Adams. Building on this foundation, her work acquired an originality in process and image that is the mark of a true artist.

Theresa Airey has also taught at several universities, including the Maryland Institute College of Art, and is a popular workshop presenter at such professional gatherings as the Palm Beach Workshops in Florida and the PhotoProExpo in Washington, D.C. In addition to these face-to-face training sessions, she has published articles in a number of professional journals, including Camera magazine and Darkroom Techniques magazine. Her first book, Creative Photo-Printmaking, was released by Amphoto in March of 1997. Her tips and ideas have provided rich material for photographers at all levels of experience.
