Johanna Bell an Australian is an writer and social researcher. She works as a producer for ABC radio and is the Director of SPUN: True Stories Told in the Territory. She is author of the short story entitled Turning Back, which won The NT Literary Awards 2016, Short Story Award. She is the author and Dion Beasley is the illustrator of Go Home, Cheeky Animals! which won the Territory Read Book of the Year 2018 for Children's literature/YA fiction. Her story, Virginia Woolf would be proud, won the NT Literary Award's 2018 Flash Fiction Award.
