Jackman, Ian (Author)
Robert William "Bobby" Flay was born in New York City (1964). He is a chef, restauranteur, and television personality. After dropping out of high school at age seventeen, he worked several food service jobs. He showed natural talent. His employer sponsored him at the French Culinary Institute. Today, Bobby is the chef-owner of three Mesa Grill restaurants (New York City, Caesar's Palace Las Vegas, and the Bahamas), Bar Americain, Bobby Flay Steak, and Bobby¿s Burger Palace. He is the host of numerous popular cooking shows on Food Network, Bobby Flay's Barbecue Addiction, Iron Chef America, Throwdown! with Bobby Flay, Boy Meets Grill, and Grill it! On the Cooking channel, he is host of Brunch @ Bobby's. A New York Times bestselling cookbook author, Brunch at Bobby's: 140 Recipes for the Best Part of the Weekend is his current bestseller. He can also be seen on The Early Show on CBS as their food correspondent.
