Author Biography
Morris, Jill (Author)
Jill Morris was born in Sandgate, Queensland, Australia in 1936. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree and Diploma of Education from the University of Queensland.

She is a producer of educational programs, a playwright, an editor and a publisher. She is co-founder and director of the Greater Glider Productions, a children's publishing and production house.

Morris has written over seventy books primarily for children. Her titles include The Boy Who Painted the Sun, Australian Bats, Australian Owls, Frogmouths and Nightjars, Green Air, The Wombat Who Talked to the Stars and Velvet the Flying Gecko.
