Jim wasn't workingfor his first two months in our country, so he becamemy deck hand on the trip down the Murray, which Iexpected to take about four to five weeks. He was a goodmate for me, being overweight, loved a beer and, likemyself was partially deaf. This book is about day to daylife travelling down the Murray, written by myself eventhough I hadn't read a book right through my life.
