The Facilitator Guide explains the key learning areas and provides the learning activities and assessment tasks for the unit of competency. It is designed to assist you to lead participants through the structure of the learning program. As a Guide, it offers training options and ideas for the facilitator and helps with the accurate interpretation of material. The aim is always to make the best use of a facilitator's experience and personal style. The CD also contains: PowerPoint presentations for each unit in the Guide to assist in the delivery of training; Suggested answers for project tasks and assessment tasks to provide guidance to newer trainers and assessors on what to look for in submitted responses; A range of alternate activities that may be used for additional learning or to customise assessment including: -- Project tasks designed as practical activities for students to investigate topics and develop OHS tools, checklists and resource files for use in their workplace -- Find it on the web task designed to enable students to research current OHS practices -- RPL kit for each unit of competency to be customised by trainers and assessors to meet the requirements of participants in different industries.
