The Prajñā-pāramitā-ratna-guna-samcaya-gāthā is probably the only extant text in Prajñāpāramitā literature written in the typical Buddhist Sanskrit language. Dr Yuyama's aim was to present an edition of Sanskrit Recension A, which appeared to preserve more original readings than the other recensions in Sanskrit, Tibetan and Chinese.
