Book Description:
|
Island states which are inundated by sea level rise have a claim to a new state territory. This claim is based upon the no harm rule and other aspects of general and environmental international law. Because such a claim exists, statehood continues to exist after the loss of a state's territory as this status is not necessarily permanent.
