Neil McDonald was an author and film historian. His books included 200 Shots, Kokoda Front Line: The Amazing Story of Legendary Australian War Cameraman Damien Parer, and Valiant for Truth: The Life of Chester Wilmot, War Correspondent. He died on February 25, 2018 at the age of 77.
