The Art of the Pimp

Dennis Hof was born in Phoenix, Arizona on October 14, 1946. His first job was delivering newspapers followed by pumping gas. Eventually, he opened up several gas stations of his own, before he moved on to brothels. His book, The Art of the Pimp, was published in 2016. He was the star of the HBO television series Cathouse, which focused on his brothel the Moonlite BunnyRanch. He won a Republican primary race for the Nevada State Assembly in 2018. He was found dead on October 16, 2018 at the age of 72.
