More DescriptionOn a crowded rush hour train, somewhere between Harvard and Central Square, Bill Chalmers forgets where he is going. He knows he's late for an appointment, but he doesn't know who with. He can't remember what he does for a living, who he works for, or who he is. When the train reaches the end of the line, his briefcase is missing, his shirt has disappeared, and he is on the floor in a foetal position, clutching a cell phone to his bare chest.
The police label him a lunatic and the hospital treat him as a guinea pig. He escapes and finds his way home, but a strange numbness afflicts him, a tingling in his hands which begins to spread through the rest of his body. His wife Melissa, a chat-room adulteress, is convinced that he is imagining his condition. Meanwhile, at the office, his colleagues continue their minutely scheduled lives as if nothing has changed.
