More DescriptionTHE MICHELANGELO ENIGMA, by D.G.G. ©This brief novel explores some not so well known aspects of the undertakings of a few great minds and artists of the past, until the present time discoverer, Mr Weddinger, a tourist of German descent, unveils them for us while in Italy, with the help of computer hacker Mr Francesco Castelli - also known in the past as Borromini!? Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel is revealed in some of its most intimate creative aspects and so are some of the works of Palladio and Borromini - both with esoteric unexpected qualities we were not aware of until an old lost notebook/manuscript (the Log of [Italian] Stonemasons' Grand Master) revealed them to us - as they would seem to both have been "portals", similar in nature to the bigger Pantheon (Roman monument) one - where the ancient militia took flight to go and conquer the world. Table of contents: - Classic (Roman) times - Scientific revolution (Galileo Galilei - Longitude on Land calculations) - Renaissance (Michelangelo, Palladio, Bertotti-Scamozzi) - Baroque (Borromini) - Modern Era (Captain James Cook - Longitude at sea calculations) - Contemporary times (Enrico Fermi)
