Ronald Hugh Morrieson was a novelist. He was born in 1922 in New Zealand.
In the 1960s, Morrieson published a series of novels dealing with life in post-war New Zealand including Come a Hot Friday and The Scarecrow. In 1982, The Scarecrow was adapted as a film starring John Carradine.
Morrieson died in 1972.
