More Description
Abused by her family and abandoned to the foster care system, Shamara Rainforest grew up feeling unloved and unwanted. Only when she encountered her heavenly Father did she find the love and acceptance she craved. Born and raised in Utah, she was exposed as a child to both the Mormon tradition and legalism, as well as the guiding influences of a string of poor caretakers. Now, in this personal narrative, she shares her story and the difference that God made in her life.
From a very early age, she felt like an outcast and a reject. She was abandoned, abused, and ashamed. It seemed her only purpose was to live as a burden to others as her years became characterized by one horrible mistake after another a life marred by bad choices. When she finally encountered God the Father, however, she began a journey of faith through which she found love and hope. The Lord provided her with unconditional love and amazing forgiveness, and she gladly accepted it. She saw that His mercies were new every morning and that He never gave up on His children.
Shamara's life goal is to share those beautiful truths with all who will listen. She enjoys nothing more than helping the hurt, the lost, and the abandoned find relationships with their heavenly Father through His Son, Jesus Christ.
