If science can predict weather patterns several days in advance why is it that we cannot do the same with stock markets? Many who have not thought to dwell upon the topic much have come to accept the proposition that economics differs from physics and other natural sciences because those sciences are deterministic but economics is not. Yet such persons would not spend another moment pondering how it is that weather forecasting can be such an uncertain affair when it is the presumably deterministic laws of physics that serve as the basis for all weather forecasting. Finance Rheology  brings the business of weather forecasting to economics and finance. There is a growing perception among knowledgeable persons that the underlying principles of economics and finance are not of a different nature than those of other sciences but that all are of the same type. Whether it be physics, or economics, the principles underlying all science are governed by stochastic, not deterministic, laws. Upon accepting this realization one has taken the first, and most, important step toward raising the veil of ignorance in economics and recognizing its true character as science not art.
