The author has learned to speak 5 languages with surprising fluency and has mastered it by learning complete sentences, phrases and expressions used in every-day speech. Very soon, he was able to express himself in Spanish with ease.After attending Spanish lessons with private teachers in Guatemala for 5 years, this collection of over 5,300 phrases and expressions was developed. It was created with the help of many native Spanish speakers from many countries in Latin America. Therefore, some phrases are specific to a particular country. What sounds alright in Mexico, might not sound so elegant in Argentina. However, a very large percentage of the samples apply equally to all Spanish-speaking countries in Latin America. All expressions are in the "familiar form" (tú) as used in Latin America instead of in the "formal form" (Usted) as used in Spain. The user of this book can adjust each sentence from "tú" to "Usted" with ease.While over 5,300 examples sound like a lot, there is always room for more and readers are encouraged to submit any additional desired phrases or expressions as well as suggestions or corrections to the author for inclusion in future editions of this valuable guide to rapid language learning.
