Customs and airport authorities had been cooperative, thanks to substantial quantities of guaranteed black money.On the previous day, an octogenarian minister and his son, a new Member of Parliament, had gotten word from one of their moles that the CBI-India's federal investigative agency-was going to conduct a "surprise" raid. AJ was brought in to deal with this small problem.The CBI raid and the subsequent investigation proved to be a futile effort and a waste of taxpayer money.
