No one would understand her confusion and fright. She did not fight him off, she cannot even recall protesting much; Terry only remembers the pain and shame. Now the cop is stalking her. Her drinking and drug use give him a weapon to use against her, but she needs something to hide from the humiliation. He always finds her, he always gets his way.
