More DescriptionKatrina was captured at the tender age of five years old and taken hostage with her mother, Annette. They were both forced into the human trafficking industry overseas, where they would meet Katrina's savior, Dmitri. Although Dmitri spent much of his life working for his family that runs the brothel that Katrina was trapped in, his kind heart proved to be unlike the rest of his family's. The line of work that he was expected to fulfill was too much weight on his conscience. After freeing several hostages over the years, the discovery of Dmitri's betrayal towards his family would cause an immediate need to flee the premises. Though Annette was unreachable at the time of his escape, Dmitri held solid on his promise to her that he would take Katrina with him. Dmitri and his sister, Lana, escaped with Katrina and an infant named Isabella. Dmitri felt compelled to raise Katrina and Isabella as his own in the United States, where he and Lana illegally obtained identities for themselves and the children. They proceeded to live amongst fellow hostages that were freed by Dmitri over the years. Katrina took it upon herself to make sure that she found her mother so that she could free her by spending years devoted to training in preparation. Once well-trained, she would dedicate herself to her mission and seek revenge towards the ruthless and foul pedophile, Borislav, who took her innocence and favored her throughout her time in the brothel. But the events that lead up to Katrina's mission would leave her in an entirely different predicament that she never prepared herself for. Something out of her realm of comfort and understanding. An unexpected triangle of emotions shared between two others, regardless of the fact that she spent so many years unable to properly grasp the idea of real relationships and what love really actually meant to her.
