More DescriptionVeteran UFO/UAP investigators Debbie Ziegelmeyer and Margie Kay describe the incidents related to the UFO flap that began in 1973 in the Ozarks of southeast Missouri. This was one of the largest flaps to date, with over 500 sightings reported to law enforcement, bringing national attention and investigators such as J. Allen Hynek, Ted Phillips, Walt Andrus, and more. Dr. Harley Rutledge and a team of scientists investigated the site for seven years using advanced telescopes and equipment and came to the conclusion that there were phenomena occurring in the area which the team could not explain. He documented his findings in the book "Project Identification." The sightings of UFOs and unexplained lights continue to this day. Debbie and Margie continue to investigate in order to find answers as to why this region is such a hot spot for unexplained activity. In this book, multiple sighting reports are documented along with newspaper articles, contact events that began in 1953 involving a man named Buck Nelson, and modern-day sightings and photos. The timeline goes back to the mid-1800s and continues today. This is the first time a book has been written about these events since "Project identification."
