Eliot Spitzer is currently the governor of New York. Governor Spitzer was the Attorney General of New York State when a member of his staff, Mike Russo, Assistant NYS Attorney General, filed seven perjured declarations in federal court. The declarations were filed to prevent a jury from ruling on the case. Richardson's memoir does not serve simply as evidence of discrimination in America and the unfairness in a civil court case; it offers the reader the chance to debate and decide a real case of employment discrimination based on direct evidence, the law, and the facts.
