More DescriptionA "Dulina" (the name of a rude hand gesture) from Baradulin - is a book not intended for the morose or serious-minded, or for those tasked with fulfilling government responsiblities. All other readers, preferably those even slightly inebriated, are welcome. In the summer of 2004, poet Ryhor Baradulin began to spin his mischief in front of Radio Svaboda's micraphones offering listeners a daily "dulina" - er, sorry, adage or epigram. This volume is a collection of those aphorisms - as well as some 50 poems that Baradulin wrote in honor of Belarusian "Svaboda"'s 50th anniversary. The modesty of the author, his editors and publishers notwithstanding, it is within these pages that you will for the first time be able to read Baradulin's essay "How Belarusians Have Sex". Because the truth must be told! "Liberty Library" is a collection of volumes consisting of selected reports of the Belarusian Service of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty.
