The world this days needs the renewable energies, since our world is already polluted. The innovation of electric vehicles made the charging station popular since it really needs to charge. Charging station in different places has different level, the charging station has three levels, the level which is AC, and level two which is also AC but has bigger power output than level one, the last level is the DC Fast or DC Rapid Charging which is the faster way to charge.
Solar Powered tricycle has been the base topic for this study so the researcher aims to design a Charging Station. The study will aim to evaluate both technical and economic aspect on designing a reliable Charging Station here in Cagayan de Oro City. It also aim to supply and sustain the amount of energy needed for the solar tricycle application that will be developed by the researcher's partnered groups. Innovative application specifically solar powered vehicle may influence local or international private companies or government agencies to pursue and develop efficient, reliable and environment friendly types of vehicle all around the world.
This study discuss about feasibility study of installation of charging station for electric tricycle and solar powered tricycle in Cagayan de Oro City, which shows the technical aspect and economic aspect. In the technical aspect it discusses the technical part of charging station, for example the charging station hardware and the installation planning process. In the economic aspect, it will show if the study is economically feasible.
