The textbook is meant to be used by anyone as it contains the knowledge of English which is fundamental for every learner irrespective of whether he/she is a beginner or not. The shorter way to learn speaking English using other methods does not exist at all and you cannot find the other textbook like this one anywhere in the world.

From the very beginning, the author gives to understand the learners what it means when they are going to learn the language. For it is not the English language proper which they intend to know but the English speaking skills. The right approach to learning the language from the very beginning helps to set up the correct learning targets.
The author gives explanations why there are only two definite reasons to learn English for anyone and only one way to start and go on learning the language. Among many speech activities there is only one the most important which is the basis for the other ones. As well as there is only one basic skill on which other skills are dependent and which the learners should develop first. This skill underlies the so called the sound samples of speech law that our brain works according to. If you are going to learn English quickly, you should obey this law.

There are other factors which are important for learning and teaching the language. Not only how to learn and teach is important, what should follow what and what should be learned first, but, according to the law of the colloquial style of speech, there also exist two different styles of speech that we cannot neglect. For native speakers of English one style is basic as it is developed first. But, the ESL and EFL learners of English should learn and develop both styles of speech simultaneously. So, the way of learning the language is not just a wish or suggestion of the author but the law-governed process.
It follows that there is only one correct way to learn the English language stated in this textbook. That is why this textbook is unique, useful and interesting for teaching and learning the language.

To be able speaking English, you need good pronunciation, a stock of the sound samples of grammar patterns, a stock of syntactic structures, samples of the colloquial style in your memory and speaking skills. To this, the author also added examples of American accent and gave characteristics of the British accent.
So, the best way to start learning the language is from doing grammar patterns exercises of Chapter 3 and colloquial style exercises of Chapter 4 at once and listening in to the audio recordings in MP3 format. The total time of audio is about six hours.

You will say that there is enough of the free audio on the Internet. Right you are. You will be able to acquire some speaking skills. But, do not forget that there is still other aspect of language learning: a literacy issue. This is your ability to read and write correctly, which is necessary to get a decent job anywhere. To develop this skill, you need to practice your visual memory based on your speaking skill. For this you will have to see the text, read and write.
