Like so many people, I too have seen my share of turmoil and hardships. The nature of life is such that it demands us to go through the drill to become a better version of ourselves.The very first time I was knocked down, I felt terribly hurt; the second time, it was awful; the third time was the worst. Then? I stopped keeping count and started pouring out my experiences, my learning curve into words. It helped heal a lot of my suppressed emotional challenges. As I continued to write, I realised I was not only coming to terms with many of my experiences, but was also starting to accept myself for who I was rather than who I was expected to be. This shift in my thought process gave me the confidence to share my views, ideas and words with those around me. What started as an exercise to discipline my racing mind eventually became a habit. When some friends said that my writing helps alleviate their pain and helps them live better, I was positively pushed into writing more. Gradually, writing has come to be an expression of love, joy and motivation that not only validates my thoughts but lightens my sufferings as well.So, here I am after two years into this journey, compiling my thoughts and words into a book, hoping it would help at least one more person come to terms with their struggles and get back up to live a better life.Love,Nithya Prabu.
