This collection of poems contain examples of several literary devices used in poetry such as similes, metaphors, imagery, personification, rhyming patterns and prose taught in language arts. Many school districts are implementing curriculum that includes social skills and character building to address increasing concerns such as bullying, dishonesty, disrespect, and low self-esteem.
