Unfortunately, the verbal mode leaves out many visual memories and may not do justice to kinesthetic knowledge and memory. Since many of us are visual and kinesthetic as well, this approach limits us. We tell our story over and over again, in words, and we get lost in our story. We begin to think the story is the truth. Art Therapy and other strategies break you out of this limited world. If you cannot access the truth with all your senses, or at the very least include the visual and kinesthetic, your understanding lacks it's full power.This is a work book, a book in which you do the work of bringing wisdom to your world.
