More DescriptionThis collection of poems is the third volume in the series from author, J. G. Woodward, known as ¿The People¿s Poet¿, due to her ability to touch those from all walks of life, real people living in the real world. Her work appeals to the foot soldiers of life, more so than the scholars of academia.
Anyone who has known love will relate to these poems for the intensity and passion they represent. The poetry also reflects the difficulties and challenges of everyday living encountered by us all.
This author has an amazing personal story of victory over seemingly insurmountable tragedy, and her triumph in overcoming grief and hardship leaves the reader with a sense of happiness, a feeling of personal satisfaction for having survived life¿s upheavals. You will know that if J. G. Woodward can do it, can survive, can succeed, then so can you, whatever your personal challenges may be.
J. G. Woodward, a descendent of Edgar Allan Poe, General Robert E. Lee, and President George Washington, holds a Master¿s degree from Kent State University. Ms. Woodward is the author of seven books. She was a winner in the J. B. Solomon Poetry Contest and several of her poems are included in that publishing house¿s anthology poetry book.
