Creed found solace at Fox Meadows in Southeast Missouri, with Brett Lancaster and his family, where he was introduced to the love of his life, and soul mate, Elizabeth Lancaster. Cain made a new life in Australia, and visited Creed when he could. Not long after accepting Creed into his home, Brett Lancaster took in another boy off the streets. Creed had stumbled upon the young boy on one of their outings to get supplies. He appeared dirty and sickly, but right away Brett knew Phillip was a Messenger.
