This report presents the results of one year's monitored topsoil stripping and excavation in advance of a 10 kilometre development of the A1. Two sites of particular interest were identified. The first comprised three Neolithic rectangular houses and a Bronze Age barrow cemetery as well as an early Bronze Age occupation area.
