Two normal people who happen to live in the year 11,000 BCE, with a story beginning on the tenth anniversary of the day the "Gods" left. Seth is a construction worker by day, unfulfilled by what he feels is a boring job helping to extract massive stone blocks from a quarry in Khemet - a land that will someday, millennia later, become Egypt. Cleito is a traveling student living in Khemet, born in the the capital city of Atlantis. Who... or what the "Gods" were we don't know, but until their departure, a global civilization on Earth thrived. Now with their absence, humanity begins to weigh the risk of waiting for a return that may never happen, or making a grab for power before someone else does, risking retribution from angry prodigal deities. While jumping back and forth from the present day to 11,000 BCE, we learn just what happens to Seth and Cleito, and how they end up caught supporting a rogue mission carried out by a rebel task force, and how their actions affect the state of our world today.
