This is our Winter issue of our quarterly presenting you illustrated tales new and old. Tales filled with murder, obsession, possession, Love, and true history! Showcasing the masters Hawthorne, Poe, and Lovecraft along with a few new ones. So come with me and your neighborhood friendly Cthulhu on our voyage to Arkham. Our first tale, "Summer Cottage from Hell", features everyone's favorite immortal, Prince Henry Sinclair of Oak Island fame. In this tale, Henry investigates the untimely death of Robert Evans two days after President Taft moved into his summer cottage making it the official Summer White House. Along with Henry; President Roosevelt, Nikola Tesla, and Rough Ryder Keno Crowninshield uncover more than murder with the threat of the Illuminati calling on a Lovecraftian monster to take over the presidency. The next is from Wolverine artist of "Heavy Metal Magazine" Fame, Matthew Maguire. In "The Wheel", Maguire presents us with an illustrated journey through a dying woman's memories of how she survived a dystopian society through the love of her father. Randall Garrett's Lord Darcy returns for another gruesome murder in "The Eyes Have It". Darcy has to solve the murder of a lord before his fiefdom falls into chaos. A lord that has an uncanny collection of women's garments... This is followed by Lisa Deschenes' "Teavanna" featuring the obsession of a lonely man for an abandoned teapot resting on a gravestone. Lovecraft's "Thing on the Doorstep" takes us on a journey of madness as a man fears for his very soul as another tries to take over his mind. This is the tale that created "Arkham Asylum" that features within the Batman canon. "Dr. Heidegger Experiment" by Hawthorne finds a doctor selling the fountain of youth to some mere acquaintances. What happens when it actually works... This was Poe's favorite. "The Tell-Tale Heart" by Poe was inspired by the most infamous murder of the nineteenth century. The murder of Captain Joseph White not only inspired this tale, but also Parker Brothers' Clue. A murder that Henry Sinclair solved in "Murder on the Common." In fact, all of these tales turn like a wheel into each other connecting the authors and their tales they weave through fiction and truth.
