More DescriptionA wandering tribe, attacked by pirates, was captured into slavery. Only three children, who were away from camp foraging for food, survived. They found shelter in a sea cave and lived off the bounty of the sea. Their sense of adventure had been heightened by their village wise-man who had told them about strange animals, people and cities in various parts of the world. By chance they boarded a ship that indeed took them to the Middle Sea where they witnessed for themselves the wonders of the world.
The rogue Captain of their ship sold them into slavery to a Roman Senator. They escaped and made their way to northern Italy, helped by two army dogs and a donkey. A safe haven was found in a fishing village but on one of their fishing outings they were caught by a major storm which swept them out to sea. They eventually made land on the Iberian Peninsula at the Roman held township of Sexi. They settled in comfortably until their past caught up with them.
