Only few have ever questioned why an entire rainforest lives without electricity, within a hundred miles of the literal lightning city. Until now. When eighteen-year-old brothers Derek and James Nite return from Vema they are forced into flight by their father, the returned leader of Infinite, and soon find themselves crawling through the jungle, desperately seeking refuge from a people they do not know.
