Drawing from the Church Fathers and from more recent works, Kevin Scott relates the quality and fidelity of the Church's mind in thinking about God with the moral integrity which issues from such reasoning. The author also considers the scientific and social implications of a departure from traditional Christian sexual morality and argues that the intelligibility of human life and thought and the coherence of Christian teaching are casualties of such a departure.
