Hello, my name is Laurence and I want to invite you on a trip to the Bac Ha Sunday Market. It's nestled in the north west mountains of Vietnam that border China. The colorful and vibrant clothing of the Flower Hmong are truly the highlight of this little Sunday morning excursion. Bac Ha is also three hours from Sapa, another popular destination fit for multiple days of exploration. Bac Ha Market is best seen early, preferably just after dawn. Its a spectacle to watch the livestock auction atop a dirt hill, that overlooks the market. The local tribes come here to shop. For myself, I was happy people watching in the center of all the beautiful chaos. There are lots of knick-knacks, housewares, clothing, tobacco, alcohol, raw and cooked foods.
