PREFACE
A terrible misfortune had detonated the day after a magical engagement. A young couple, from different cultures, but with the same creed had met and loved each other with intensity, so intense that when a secret that went back more than two decades ago came to the surface by a slip that he had had, with that same intensity with which she loved him, now she revolted him.
IMPRECATIONS
It was a beautiful afternoon. It didn't rain as it used to; instead of gray and dark clouds, instead of lightning or tremors, the sky fused its beautiful nuances while mixing and showing off its golden blends combined with a red like blood. The sun was setting, and the afternoon seemed painted just to remember the beautiful moments of life while admiring a perfect sunset. But nothing was exactly as what the naked eye seemed to see.
ANTECEDENTS
Never in his unfamiliar life had anyone cursed him like that Tuesday, June 16th of the present year.
- You are rubbish!
She exploded as she verbally battered him. With wrath and great disappointment, she yelled at him that her world had collapsed entirely because of his unloyalty. Everything that was happening in their environment was paralyzed to concentrate on such a sporadic situation. She added,
-I didn't want to believe it, but I have the evidence, and there is no justification for this.
Her lips shivered as she articulated each in-sult from the helplessness that she had felt.
-You have screwed up my life!
-I gave it all just for a damn fool to play with me.
-Moron! Forget about me.
-You have no pardon from God.
That very last sentence had a word that made him meditate and feel unworthy of life and a second chance. As she cursed him, a young boy tied a knot in a rope around a wooden beam. While she called him a damn, a young boy collocated an old stool under a rough, rustic beam. Simultaneously, as she said that he had no forgiveness from God, a boy cried in fear and despair as he wrapped a rope around his neck. This graphic was the images that this young man remembered while she outraged him with anger. She also asked with great hatred if, by chance, he wasn't also sick so that he would end up rotting himself in her life. He only wailed as he answered with a no repeatedly.
The sun fell behind the mountains; the shadows of darkness empowered itself over their relationship while she continued to reproach him that she had also faced her mother for a damn fucking love. It pained her that her mother always seemed right. She could not remain silent; she was entirely within her rights. She didn't look tired at spitting vexatious words at him saying.
-I feel disgusted that I was with you while you slept with...
-Go to your country, screw you! I only attract trash.
For the second time, he knew...
INTRODUCTION
This is the story of Joel and Emma, a lovely couple from different cultures but with the same creed. They met and loved each other intensely, so intense that when a secret dating back more than two decades in the past came to the surface, due to a slip Joel had had, with that same intensity with which Emma loved him, it seemed to turn into rejection and insatiable contempt. Joel had received expletives that stabbed him to the point of deterio-ration. Due to his past, he had also detonated disgrace in Emma's face. It all started a day after their magical engagement.
"The sound of the ocean and gentle wind that caresses my soul wasn't enough inspiration. The rain that poured drops of tears upon my head couldn't trigger a word of imagination. The squawking of the seagulls and the huddle of the doves failed to inspire my words. Every word I wrote was due to every memory at her side be-cause she inspires me. Certainly, her love inspires me. Every single word that she uttered has moved me to inspiration." -Joel
