And yet, Esther doesn't let her circumstances define her or hold her back from being used by God to save the Jewish nation from certain destruction. Esther is a woman of God whose life is defined by the one true sovereign God of the Israelites.

God will open doors for Esther to gain a position of influence and prominence in Persia as she goes from orphan to queen. It was "for such a time as this" that God would call upon Esther's faith to act in courage and help save the Jewish people from genocide under the hand of an evil Persian leader. The book of Esther is a story of rags to riches, life or death moments, and faith triumphing over fear. Esther's life is a testimony for all of us of God's love, as well as an example of what it looks like to be a devoted woman of God.

In this 9-session study, you will see God work powerfully through a submitted, humble woman in order to save a nation. You'll see the pervasive influence of evil rise against God's plan, and you'll see many facets of the human heart displayed throughout this story of faith, courage, and ultimately deliverance. Woven throughout the study, you'll learn what it looks like to be an everyday Esther through her godly example of influence, inner beauty, heritage, sacrifice, humility, patience, obedience, and strength.
