More DescriptionThis is a book version of the online BetterFrisian program you can find on www.learnfrisian.com/betterfrisian. The reason why this book was created was because some enthusiastic Frisian learners rather worked from a book than a website. So if you are already using the online program, we won't recommend buying this book.
This Frisian workbook has around 200 lessons, more than 20 subjects, more than 2.000 audio files, speech practice, assignments and thousands of words to work with. The speech practice and assignments will be checked by a native Frisian speaker. Each lesson comes with a little instruction and is practical, that means it involves a lot of writing and making the right Frisian sentences. Almost all the sentences in this book are useful for daily life.
By the end of the book you should be able to write and read Frisian, recognize mistakes in Frisian and even speak some Frisian if you use the audio files and the speech practice exercises.

What is the price of this book based on?
First of all this is a huge book (it has 501 pages). While writing this book we figured out that the printing cost of this book was incredibly high, so we had to cut back on pages and content unfortunately. By doing this we reduced the printing cost by 50%. The price might still seem high, but please consider that much time and energy was put in this book. Also, in this book you'll have the chance to talk to a native speaker, who will also give you feedback on your assignments and your speech, which takes up a lot of time and energy too.
