More DescriptionThe field of secular psychology is filled with humanism, rooted in ungodly philosophies, and has built greatly upon the shaky and unsound foundation of evolutionary teaching. So why a book on basic psychology for those seeking to study theology? It is a great question, one which demands a great answer. Can a theological course of study justify covering secular psychology? Concerning theology itself, the answer must be "no!" However, for the purpose of exposing, refuting, and warning those who are attracted to the ungodly, intoxicating allurement that it holds - in this there is profit to be gained in considering it. Again, not for anything that theology needs, but in order to reveal the deceptions of secular psychology which has gained access into schools, seminaries and those occupying pulpits. Certainly there is reason enough just in knowing that many of the youth who are raised in our churches will encounter a university professor of psychology with a goal of destroying their faith. As there is value in knowing what cults and false religions teach in order to reveal, expose, warn, and hopefully rescue souls from such, so with secular psychology (which for many, operates much like a religion).
