Tamara Gibson, no stranger to loss, is going through an abrupt break-up from Kolbi's father --handsome young pulmonary doctor. In the mist of her depression over their separation, Kobi has proved to be her sole reason for waking up in the morning. When Tamara discovers that the next-door neighbor isn't the only victim of the shooting, but that her son is also a victim, she becomes hysterical. Realizing that there is nothing any doctor can do to save him, not even Dr. Hampton, Kolbi's father, Tamara is reminded of the rumors that she's heard of Madame Savoy, New Orleans voodoo legend, and her ability to perform miracles.
