When two of the children are picked up by Social Services because of the abuse, Will and Irene become foster parents, hoping they can help protect the children and provide a safe environment where they can begin to heal. Irene shares the struggles she and her husband experience after learning of their own children’s abuse at the hand of one of their foster daughters. Binding up the Brokenhearted is a story of God’s ability to bring healing, redemption, and forgiveness in the midst of the pain and brokenness experienced by this family as they seek to heal from the wounds inflicted upon them by someone they loved and trusted.
