Wherever there were men living, there the flood went. Did God forget Noah ? No; the Bible says God remembered Noah, that he made a wind to blow over the earth, that he stopped up the fountains of the great deep, and shut up the windows of Heaven. Did the waters go away all at once ? No; as the earth was not drowned in a day, so it was not dried in a day. What was the name of the mountain upon which the ark rested ? Mount Ararat. Do you think Noah was pleased when he found the ark stood still on the ground ? Yes; for it must have been weary work to toss about on the wild sea for one hundred and fifty long days and dark nights. Was Noah so clever that he made the ark rest on Mount Ararat ?
