More DescriptionThis is one of a series of pantomimes and shows from TINSEL TURMOIL PRODUCTIONS. Each script contains about a dozen main characters and there are suggestions for set pieces, music, dance etc to allow the purchaser the chance to use as many people as they want! There are no performance fees and the script can be adapted within reason to bring in any local names or people if required. Enjoy! The show starts with children writing letters to Santa Claus. Santa suddenly appears and listens to the children's usual requests. It is only Brian that has no idea what he wants until Santa discovers that Brian lacks talent and would really love some. Thus begins the quest to see if Brian's got talent!Brian meets Doc who is a Merlin-type character able to whisk us through time and space if required. The first talent Brian needs is the ability to tell jokes. So, we visit the first SET PIECE: the Cracker factory - modelling hats, demonstrating the wonderful free toys, telling the worst jokes ever and adding a few Christmas songs to get us in the mood.Brian is then sent before the judges (Simon, Piers and Amanda) but he is still found lacking. The judges again feel that there is something lacking and that it is dancing! CLUELESS (hardly Flawless!) are not the best dancers in the world and so, with Stavros and Flatley as their mentors, we arrive at SET PIECE 2 and a possible dance extravaganza (Strictly Come Thriller?)The judges still cannot find Brian's talent and, through a chance meeting with Shrek, the story lurches on to to the swamp and meet Fiona and Puss. SET PIECE 3 takes us through the Storyland routines to try and inspire Brian. Once again he is sent before the judges who feel the ability to do a speciality act would improve his talents. What can be cooked up? Well, Sweet, sour, sauce and Jammy Oliver try but fail as do "Clueless" . The Judges suggest he should find that special talent - finger knitting, chocolate eating, talking parrot, dog act etc. A final SET PIECE offers ideas for special talent (Fame / Circus theme). When Santa reappears Brian seems to have no talent in singing, dancing, joke telling etc. But he has acquired many grateful friends along the way. And that really is a talent!
